The shortcut a lot of operators take is skimming fresh grout over the old. It photographs beautifully and starts lifting within a year. We do not do that.

Silicone Replacement
Silicone is a consumable, not a permanent fixture. Once it shrinks, discolours or lifts at the edges it stops doing the one job it exists to do. We cut the old bead out completely, prep and dry the joint, then lay a fresh bead of premium mould-resistant sanitary silicone.
